In Princes Risborough, The Roof Moss Cleaners cleared years of moss from the clay-tiled roof of a house that is, in parts, over two hundred years old, and finished the whole job in one day.

The owners had lived in the house for thirty years and replaced the roof when they bought it. In their words on Google, it was "the first time that the roof has been properly cleaned and a lot of moss had built up over the years. It was blocking gutters and generally making a lot of mess."
The team set up cherry pickers and scaffolding, and worked for about ten hours from start to finish. The moss was scraped off by hand, working from the ridge down, the gutters were cleared, and the roof was given a biocide treatment, which comes with a three-year moss-free guarantee.
The customer described the result: "The roof now looks amazing and I keep going outside to look at it. I am told it will get even better over the next few months as the treatment takes effect. A very thorough job of cleaning up afterwards as well."
